    “立象以尽意,重画以尽情”——试论意境理论的文化内涵与创作方法

    摘要:在“立象以尽意”的思想和取象思维的影响下,古人从文论的“言意”关系中逐步发展出“言象意”系统,并形成以“意象”为核心的艺术理论。而随着禅宗思想的盛行,“意境”逐渐取代“意象”成为中国美学思想的核心范畴。意境理论的产生和发展,对中国园林产生了深远的影响。在园林的“言象意”关系中,意境作为联系“象”与“意”的中介,在造园要素及题名楹联等组成的“言”和园林承载的理想情思等形成的“意”之间起到重要的纽带作用。但在不同时期,造园立意理应有不同的侧重,意境创作也应随之产生变化。

    Abstract:Under the influence of the traditional thinking patterns of "making images for full expressing meaning" and analogical thinking mode, the system of "words, image and meaning" originated from the "words and meanings" structure of ancient literary theory, and formed the traditional art theory with a core conception of "image". With the prevalence of Zen Buddhism, "artistic conception" instead of "image" has become the core areas of traditional Chinese aesthetics. The emergence and development of artistic conception theory had a profound impact on Chinese traditional garden. On the context of "words, meaning and image" of traditional garden, artistic conception as an intermediary of the "image" and "meaning" played an important role of bridge between the "words" from garden elements and antithetical couplets and "meanings" from garden creation thought. Therefore, the creation meaning of gardening should be focused on different points in different period, and the creation of "artistic conception" should be appropriate for that.
